Responsibilities:
- Adhering strictly to safety and health regulations/policies
- Executing preventative maintenance activities
- Knowledge/understanding of drive systems (installation, pulley alignment, belt installation, and tracking), mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical maintenance
- Managing multiple priorities with a team
- Working with production and engineering to increase equipment and line efficiency
- Troubleshooting and reducing/eliminating recurring problems
- Using computers/equipment manuals to diagnose problems and order components
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; secondary education preferred
- Experience in computerized maintenance management systems is a plus
- Ability to communicate and make independent decisions
- Basic fabrication skills, including MIG welding
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; ability to write reports and correspondence
- Basic math and measuring skills
- Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for full shift
- Ability to problem solve
