Job Description
Position Title: Maintenance Mechanic
Wage: $25.00 - $32.00/hour
Shift: 2nd

QPS Employment Group is hiring for a Maintenace Mechanic at a company in Antioch, IL. This is a direct hire position for 2nd shift. Maintenance Mechanic Responsibilities:
- Repair and maintain equipment, machinery and buildings
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and machinery
- Inspect buildings and equipment for safety hazards
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical problems
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities
- Follow safety protocols when working with hazardous materials
- Operate power tools and other machinery safely
Requirements for Maintenance Mechanic:
- At least one year of previous experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent knowledge of repair methods and techniques
- Able to work within a team environment as well as independently
- Committed to making positive changes but remaining flexible and able to adapt to company growth and evolving responsibilities
- Commitment to working safely
- Good communication skills
- Able to lift up to 50lbs
