Current Need:


McKesson is seeking an experienced Senior Director of People Analytics. In this role, you'll leverage your expertise using data to create actionable and meaningful insights that drives our human resources strategy. You'll lead a team of consultants who directly support our business leaders, an advanced analytics research team, and support our employee listening strategy. You'll be responsible for understanding opportunities within the self-serve ecosystem and partnering with our technology teams to design a simple and secure insights platform with a "single front door" strategy for access.

You'll be responsible for developing and delivering insights for our executive team members and senior leadership teams, reporting for our board of directors and external agencies. Your working partners will include the Employee Experience team to set HR strategies and measure success of our functions, and the data governance and system configurations team to ensure we are structured in a way that effectively generates insightful and usable data.

This is a hybrid role in Irving, TX. Ideal candidate will reside within a commutable distance to our Corporate Headquarters in Irving, TX to be onsite 2-3 times per month.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, analyze, and model operational, economic, management, accounting, and other organizational data.

  • Provide recommendation solutions to new and complex problems and develop innovative strategies.

  • Quantify the competitive performance of the organization's operations and/or markets.

  • Evaluate the potential impact of changes and report on economic forecasts that affect the industry.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement operational policies, goals, performance standards/metrics, and budgets.

  • Ensure customer satisfaction, services, programs, and manager/employee accountability within assigned area of responsibility.

  • Lead and manage a team of second-level managers, providing strategy and direction to a divisional function or corporate sub-function.

  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting professional growth and development among team members.

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, anticipate market changes, and influence strategy accordingly.

  • Regularly interact with senior management or executive levels on matters concerning multiple functional areas, divisions, and/or customers.

  • Communicate organizational strategy and translate it into a functional strategy.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Typically requires 13+ years of people analytics, talent insights, and/or customer analytics experience, with at least 6+ years of diversified leadership, planning, communication, organization, and people motivation skills.

Critical Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.

  • Advanced analytics: Proficient in using advanced analytics techniques and tools to analyze data and derive insights.

  • Statistical analysis: Strong statistical analysis skills, including proficiency in statistical software and techniques.

  • Self-serve data visualization technology delivery: experience leading and designing tools to democratize data and enable simple and effective self-service.

  • Strategic thinking: Ability to think strategically and develop innovative strategies to drive organizational success based on people data and trends.

  • Communication: Exceptional communication and visual storytelling skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Leadership: Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team towards achieving long-term goals.

  • Talent forecasting: Experience partnering to predict and forecast talent needs based on data analysis and market trends.

As part of Total Rewards, we are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson. This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.

Our Base Pay Range for this position

$163,100 - $271,800
