Coffman Engineers is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer for our Spokane Office. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated team player, looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity within a dynamic and progressive firm.

We are looking for someone who works effectively with all personality types, is interested in being a mentor to junior engineers, and who desires to grow professionally and stay involved in the activities and exciting trends in the industry. • A four-year degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related field
• Master's Degree in Structural Engineering (preferred)
• Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) with Structural Engineer (SE) preferred.
• Seven to ten years of experience in the structural design of buildings or similar structures
• Experience with computer software programs and analysis systems (such as Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Revit, RISA, RAM, Mathcad, Enercalc, ETABS, etc.)
• Design experience with various materials - steel and concrete; masonry, wood and light gauge (preferred)
• Knowledge and experience with the International Building Code (IBC) and US design standards
• Excellent leadership, supervisory, and writing and verbal communication skills
• Experience and ability to maintain working relationships with clients
• Experience as a project manager (preferred)
• Experience working as part of a multi-discipline team (preferred)

Expected annual salary$100,000-$115,000.
