Typical Day in the Life

A typical day as an Administrative Assistant in Tustin, CA might include the following:

    Utilize tax and accounting software to complete a wide range of tasks.
  • Assist with new client set-ups.
  • Prepare, send and track engagement letters.
  • Act as liaison between client and Eide Bailly staff.
  • Prepare completed tax returns for delivery to client.
  • Monitor client portal and process uploaded documents.
  • Follow up with clients on open items.
  • Monitor jobs and communicate regularly with partners and managers.
  • Prepared and assemble reports, company materials and client documents as directed.
  • Make arrangements for various client or internal staff meetings and department training via conference calls, video conferences, or in-person.
  • Provide general administrative support to partners, managers and staff with integrity and professionalism. Tasks include answering phones and greeting clients, typing, faxing, copying, scanning, emailing, preparing correspondence and PowerPoint presentations, assisting with travel arrangements, preparing expense reports, etc.
  • Primarily support the Outsourced and Managed Services (OMS) department (Healthcare team).
  • Regular and predictable attendance in office.
  • Demonstrate an ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • Open to new challenges and assist with special projects as requested.

  • You are proficient in:
    • Microsoft Excel: including the ability to create spreadsheets, perform data entry, use basic formulas, format worksheets.
    • Microsoft Word: including formatting, creating tables, headers & footers, and utilizing mail merge functions.
    • DocuSign: including creating, sending, and tracking documents for e-signature.
    • Adobe Acrobat: including creating, editing, and commenting on PDFs.
    • Microsoft Outlook and Teams.
  • You have a high school diploma and 3+ or more years of experience in administrative support, and are willing to work overtime.
  • Experience in public accounting administration is a plus.
  • You have strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • This position requires prolonged standing and sitting, some bending, stooping, and stretching, and the ability to lift 20 lbs.

Must be authorized to work in the United States now or in the future without visa sponsorship.

Benefits and Compensation

Our compensation philosophy emphasizes competitive and equitable pay. Eide Bailly complies with all local/state regulations regarding displaying salary ranges. Final compensation decisions are dependent upon factors such as geography, experience, education, skills, and internal equity.

Salary Range: $22.00-32.00/hr.
