* $500 Signing Bonus (Paid at 60 days of employment)

Job Description
This position drives a gasoline or diesel-powered tractor to move loaded and empty shipping containers.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Uses tractor to move loaded or empty trailers to and from depending on location the port, rail yard, warehouse, and yard.
  • Issues or obtains customer signature on receipt for pickup or delivery.
  • Perform pre-trip/post-trip inspection of assigned vehicle and complete pre-trip/post-trip report; distribute as directed.
  • Serves as a relief driver during peak periods or when drivers are not available.
  • Other duties as they are assigned.

Job Requirements

  • CDL class A required
  • W.I.C. (Transportation Worker ID Credential) Card, allows access to the Ports
  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • Clean driving record, no SR22 insurance.
  • Copies of your CDL and DMV record required prior to start.
  • Excellent communication, both written and verbal.
  • Working knowledge of warehousing, forklift and pallet jack operations, and inventory processes preferred.

Physical Demands

  • Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and will occasionally lift and/or move up to 170 pounds (full beer kegs).
  • Operates a forklift or pallet jack to transport products all in a safe manner.
