Job Description:

The Business Excellence Manager provides leadership and focus to Continuous Improvement culture and initiatives at Jubilant HollisterStier. Essential responsibilities include:

  1. Manage and oversee the Continuous Improvement program in partnership with the Sr. Manager of Business Excellence at JHS across all functions as a member of the Operational Program Management (OPM) team.
  2. Collect and analyze production and cost data. Organize data into meaningful dashboards and metrics as needed.
  3. Define, establish, and gain stakeholder support for key process metrics such as OEE, OLE, RTY, and others.
  4. Promote continuous improvement culture at the site. Administer programs to encourage and recognize improvement efforts.
  5. Identify improvement opportunities and lead improvement projects as needed. Lead out in gaining stakeholder alignment for the proper prioritization and timed execution of the continuous improvement project portfolio.
  6. Train, mentor, and engage site personnel using Lean Six Sigma and other methodologies as appropriate in support of site initiatives and programs.
  7. Provide data and analysis to business and department heads in support of strategic planning.
  8. Lead problem solving teams using Lean Six Sigma best practices and tools such as Root Cause Analysis, FMEA, DOE, Gemba, Kaizen, 5S, and others.
  9. Drive positive change at the site as a visible leader who promotes the site safety, quality, innovation, and continuous improvement culture.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a hard science such as Math, Engineering, Biology, Chemistry, Statistics or related degree required. Master's degree is a plus.
  • Black Belt Certification strongly desired.
  • Minimum 5 years of related experience required.
  • Managerial experience desired.
  • Pharmaceutical and FDA Regulated Industry experience desired.
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint required.
  • Statistics software such as JMP or Minitab required.
  • Managing conflict and influencing outcomes, communication skills and technical problem solving required.
  • Working in aseptic areas and exposure to allergens required.

Sr. Manager Qualifications (in addition to above)

  • Managerial experience required.

Shift: Days

Compensation:

  • The salary range for this position is $80,500 - $150,000depending on experience.
