Job Description:

The Specialist, ABU Supply Chain is responsible for the collection, analysis and reporting of Supply Chain related data to support operational, sales, quality, and overall supply chain efficiencies for the Allergy Business Unit.

Other essential responsibilities include:

  • Work with the head of Supply chain and Supply Chain functional managers (Planning, Procuring, Distribution) to support existing, and expand data extraction, evaluation, and standardization efforts.
  • Control and perform updates to SAP in collaboration with Supply Chain and other departmental requests in alignment with GMP control strategies. SAP setup expertise desired.
  • Work with stakeholders to understand existing Excel based SAP front end, assume development responsibilities, and expand development in collaboration with functional leads and SC head.
  • Compile and distribute various departmental reporting and performance KPI's to management on daily, weekly and monthly cadence. Examples include status of inventory, sales, transfer order, purchase order, production order, manufacturing, release, shipments, Purchase Order, discards, etc.
  • Understand and calculate Supply Chain planning and logistics parameters including Safety Stock, ROP, Shelf Life, Lead-time, etc. within guidance and collaboration of functional head.
  • Monitor inventory in finished goods, on-hand and in-transit stages. Monitor production output and raw material availability. Understand sale orders, work orders, shipment orders, and supply purchase orders in order to understand potential distressed (risk) orders, pipelines, and SKUs.
  • Predict future inventory requirements based on experience and observed material flow history of elements listed above. Predict real demand, considering consensus forecast and actual demand via orders. Predict inventory at future dates based on material lead times and expected levels, including customer allocation. Have an understanding of data modelling and statistical analysis
  • Support S&OP Process by driving data refresh to highlight gaps between requirements and capacity. Work in coordination with Operational and Planning leads to be able to articulate gaps as basis for understanding and decision making during S&OP collaborative process.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Associates of Science or Arts Degree required.
  • Minimum 5 years of related experience required.
  • APICS, SCM Preferred
  • Pharmaceutical and FDA Regulated Industry experience desired.
  • ERP/MRP/MPS, SAP, DB experience desired.


Compensation:

This position pays $ 67,725 to $ 88,814 per year, depending on experience, with opportunity for growth, promotion and annual raises.
