Primary Responsibilities

In the role of Electrical CADD Technician, we'll count on you to:

  • Work independently to perform electrical design tasks, CADD design, develop design drawings and documents, modeling and/or analysis, prepare material lists, perform field reviews, and other tasks for simple to moderately complex projects.
  • Develop entry-level drawings by using computer-aided design software under the direct supervision of other Electrical Technicians or Engineers
  • Understand client standards and complete small to moderately complex projects, exercising judgment in design criteria, evaluation, and design, subject to review by engineers.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of procedures for production of design developments and construction documents, and a thorough knowledge of engineering planning, drafting and detailing
  • Communicate with Project Managers, Project Engineers, and client personnel
  • Create electrical drawings for facilities, such as lighting systems, power systems, communications, security and fire detection in compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC)
  • Perform other duties as needed
Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Associate or technical school degree, or combination of education and relevant experience
  • Strong computer skills Microsoft Office, AutoCAD
  • Database familiarity a plus

The expected compensation range for this position is $17.50- $36.00 hourly depends upon skills, experience, education and geographical location. Stated benefits are for full-time regular positions. Temporary and part-time roles eligible for limited benefits.)
