The Territory Manager is responsible for growing and maintaining physician, clinic, and hospital clientele and acting as a liaison between Incyte Diagnostics and the medical communities we serve.


Incumbent to reside in Oregon and have familiarity of territory and or have an book of business.


Note: this role requires driving your own vehicle and maintenance of proper vehicle insurance liability coverage, see Insurance coverage, below/ mileage reimbursement per IRS guidelines. Additionally travel requirements: 40% and consecutive nights travelling

You Will:

  • Prospect potential accounts within the assigned territory.
  • Develop and close new diagnostic opportunities with physicians, clinics, and hospitals.
  • Set up new accounts to include ordering supplies, training staff, and understanding the accounts workflow.
  • Manage new and existing accounts.
  • Up-sell existing accounts.
  • Manage all aspects of interfaces, remote printers, and web-based reporting for clients.
  • Provide problem resolution for all accounts within the assigned territory.
  • Represent Incyte Diagnostics at conferences and sponsorship events.
  • Contribute information and insight at necessary Incyte Diagnostic meetings.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, communication medical technology or sciences, preferred or equivalent years of experience required.
  • 3+ years of sales and/or customer service experience, preferably in the healthcare industry.
  • Laboratory or diagnostic sales experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of sales/marketing strategies.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
  • Excellent sales and customer service skills: proven ability to attract new customers and to maintain effective relationships.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines: ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Valid driver's license and proof of insurance, required: clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) - must qualify according to the MVR criteria stated in the Incyte Diagnostics' Transportation Policy

Insurance Coverage: Employees who use their personal vehicles for company business must carry adequate liability limits. Incyte requires limits of $100,000 per person for bodily injury, $300,000 per accident, and $100,000 property damage liability (100/300/100). The policy must not include a business use exclusion. A copy of the declaration page of the employee's personal automobile insurance policy must be provided to their supervisor/human resources department annually at the employee's renewal date.
