Job Description

Build a career and enjoy life in the beautiful Inland Northwest

Incyte Diagnostics in Washington State, has an opportunity for an AP/CP Board Certified Pathologist. Founded in 1957, Incyte now has over 50 pathologists and 400 support staff. The group provides onsite staffing to numerous hospitals throughout Washington, Northern Idaho, and Northeast Oregon, as well as laboratory medical directorship/consultation to many smaller hospitals within the Inland Northwest.

The successful candidate will be AP/CP Board Certified in pathology and have a strong interest in active participation in a successful group practice. Candidates with experience or training in hematopathology will be given special consideration. Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States, have excellent verbal and written communication skills, have the ability to interact positively with clinicians, administrators and laboratory staff, be proficient in the performance of frozen sections and cytology interpretations (both GYN and non-GYN), and have the ability to work independently.

Spokane is located on the Spokane River in northeast Washington near the Idaho panhandle. Spokane residents enjoy a relatively dry climate with four distinct seasons. This provides an ideal setting to enjoy Washington and Idaho's abundant outdoor recreational activities, including boating, skiing, hiking, biking, golf and fishing. Combined with a thriving downtown with diverse cultural amenities, a quality school system, little traffic congestion, and a comparatively low cost of living, Spokane is an excellent place to live, work, and play.
