This includes expanding materials for current K-12 and Family Programsas well as contributing to the development of new programs. The intern will synthesize content and createlearning tools and activities to supplement current programs. Additionally, the intern will teach programsaccording to the program schedule.Duties and Responsibilities:The intern will help assess and expand K-12 and Family Programs and resources and teach programs. This willinvolve some research, writing, and collaborating with various curatorial and education staff to build contentand activities. The intern should expect to work 2 to 3 days per week for 10 to 12 weeks.Education:Undergraduate or graduate student majoring in Museum Studies, Museum Education, History, or related field.Qualifications:Must be currently enrolled in or a recent graduate from a college or universitySkills:This position requires strong interpersonal, organizational, research and analytical skills.The intern will represent Museum of the Bible in the Washington museum community and will provide information for the museums education department to use as a guideline for future program development.Ability to work independently or as part of a group.Ability to conduct research.
