The Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Intern is responsible for supporting the People Experience and DEI leaders in day-to-day projects to enhance inclusion and increase diversity at Radian. The selected candidate will begin work in a virtual environment.
What You Will Do
Assist with the development, implementation, and evaluation of in-person and virtual DEI trainings and other learning opportunities
Research and develop supplemental DEI educational content for employees.
Support the management of employee engagement activities such as employee resource groups, heritage months, and cultural celebrations
Create internal communications and update internal DEI webpage
Who We Are Looking For
Knowledge, awareness and interest in issues of equity and inclusion, cultural and systemic racism, social justice and cultural competence
Knowledge of the principles and fluency in the language of equity, inclusivity, diversity, justice, and anti-racism.
Experience in performing in a professional setting.
Strong interest in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and Environmental Justice principles.
Experience gathering, organizing, and performing analysis on DE&I initiatives.
Ability to use analytical skills to evaluate data from diverse sources and compile such data in a meaningful and organized format.
